It's a weighted random system. Has nothing to do with what the pro is, endorsements they may have or not have or how well they are doing.

I knew it wasn't based on endorsements, because I've dropped Fasty Feet before, and I don't use the endorsement. I figured that if you killed someone and they dropped them, either it was a random reward, or they'd picked up some from bots.
