So who's been Rage Kicked yet?

I got "nominated" during one of my first games I played shortly after the update came out, earned a couple of votes, it made me chuckle, that considering my k/d ratio wasn't even that great. People apparently don't really like juice-a-lot gunners that jump around like crazed monkey on drugs. Oh well.

All this slightly reminds me of the good old days in L4D when kick feature was being abused like there's no tomorrow, making each your public game last ten minutes at max until some highly sensitive intellectual decides he doesn't like you/your nickname/your avatar/your mom/whatever the reason is, proceeding to call a vote. It's funny until it gets excessive.

I agree that votes need to be a server option, or at least not available for everyone.

And no, I did not register just to post this! Okay, fine, I did.

Yes, I saw. Considering the player base of this game is around 300, yes, this IS a very small world we live in. :lol:

Really, if people start an obvious rage kick, just do your part by voting 'No'. This will increase the votes required for the kick by one, and can make a world of difference.

That is not nice. I always vote "Yes", especially when it's me. You gotta go with the crowd, then people will like you.

That would hold some truth if you weren't effectively exiling yourself from that crowd.

Anonymous vote too, so you can't really show you trolled the guy unless you explicitly shout 'I VOTED YES! OH F&@^ING YEAH!' in the chat or something. :lol:

That this is usually what happens:

1st ~ You ride a kid like a pony because you are using his counter class, or are just better than him (and in fact best on your team and in that server). :mrgreen:

2nd ~ Bad kid starts votekick, hoping for a fluke kick so his second rate skill might grasp a better k/d in your absense. :roll:

3rd ~ Some terrible ******* sees the vote and thinks "Vote-Kick? Why Not!" :|

4th ~ Some kid from the forums sees your name, and decides they don't like your posts. :twisted:

5th ~ Somebody sees a lot of votes being made, and jumps on the bandwagon. I hope this kid, like a lemming following a group of lemmings (nature's retards), someday sees a group of people jumping off a bridge, and joins them as well. :ugeek:

6th ~ Somebody sees a lot of yes votes, asked why is everyone trying to vote-kick this guy, and some people go ahead and (falsely) say "He is wallhacking!" (is there wallhacks in this game?). Oh, well in that case... *Vote Yes* :x

7th ~ You go to the forums and post about how you just got rage-votekicked for no righteous reason whatsoever, and somebody named "BroTranquilty" reminds you that he predicted this not so long ago. One more person has seen the light, that the majority opinion isn't trusted in this day and age.

Democracy? I say you should have to pass a series of mental, IQ, and moral tests in order to vote.

Or, GLaDOS as President for Life.

I have had multiple votes started against me.

Basically if you trash and don't face grapple tanks as assassin you must be cheating. It is in the rule book.

Why do people hate on the snipers?

They don't hate snipers, they think you are a hacker.

I love how people think I am not telling the absolute truth.

Anyway, just saying, you can get 118/6 against a bad team (go ask "s kay e el el"). Doesn't make you a hacker. Matter of fact, he wasn't AMAZING either, he actually only held his own in a private. No better or worse that I would do in a game of good players.

I say, at this point, if you get votekicked, you have my salute.

Keep giving them hell.

If bad players want to level teams, then of course, then they can learn from being a teammate, maybe learn particular maneuvers or general gameplay. If bad players want to kick good players, who do they learn and improve off of? The forums that they apparently aren't visiting?

So, which of my points were malicious or incorrect this time? Just wondering arsonist. I didn't feel any of this was wrong. I don't mess with others, I just play the game.

Maybe if it was a one hour server. But otherwise, hell no, I haven't even seen actual hackers go over 100 before. :?

I went 18-0 as assault yesterday, which isn't even that good, and some guy said it's an impossible score and that I aimbot. As assault. First time I ever got called an aimbotter as assault. The next round I was like 34-0 and got votekicked.

Then on another server I kept sticking some guy, apparently he was the admin because I saw "xxx has logged in as admin" and then lost my connection to the host.

I remember one game where other players were trying to kick me and I say "X has logged in as admin" pop up
Was a bit weird that the name displayed didn't match anyone on the server but meh, never got punted so I'm not gonna gripe

Went into a server with 2 snipers taunting endlessly at the front door, blocking the exit and doing nothing for the team.

I asked how to initiate vote kick.

Someone told me.

Someone voted to kick me.

I've been rage kicked once by an admin, yet to be rage kicked by a pug(though I got close with 6/8)
