Every new window you have is rendering the game all over again, this was even how it was with Supcom.

That is the exact opposite of how graphics work. You want to draw as little as possible/feasible as is well explained over here:

units in the pip for the tony stark one could be a darker shade of that color to help you see what's what.

i´m rather would be concerned about the eyestrain .... why dont whe have cybernetic eyes yet ... ghost in the shell is a lie ....

anyways it can be made to be less strainfull but of course you should only enable as much as you can take.
