I never had or heard about Whataburger until I moved to FL. Oddly enough my parents were craving some and they had just closed down like 3 days prior. Still never had a Whataburger.

We didn't have any consoles until I was nearly 14! I got a Gameboy Original for Christmas when I was 10, though. I got a massive rechargable battery pack for it, and the stupid thing broke on Christmas Day. I had to wedge it in to the Game Boy with a piece of paper, and it was forever falling out. It also resulted in my first ever bout of videogame nerd rage, but that's another story.

I decided to have some toast and a cup of tea instead.

He is a twin, so whether he was a blessing or an accident is something up for debate. He's banned from the Xbox until he replaces the cable he broke on the headset anyway.

Good, now I can tell him that he was an accident, to go easy on the pies, and that he's a headset-breaking incompetent bollocks. :) That'll teach him!

I got a rechargable battery pack, too, but mine was a Gameboy COLOUR.

    Suck on that.

Also, when all my friends were playing PS1, I was stuck with a Saturn. :|

I had to get all A's on my report card for all of fourth grade to get an SNES. I danced in the classroom when I found out I did it. I regret nothing.

If it had been a Sega, I would probably be a junkie in an alley somewhere.

How do you cope knowing that your parents abused you so much?

I will shamelessly admit that I was spoiled as a kid and my parents/family were/are middle class. I had an SNES, Original Gamebot, PS1, Dreamcast, PS2, and an XBox. My friends had Genesis, 64, Saturn, and one had a Game Gear.

My dad is the oldest of ten and when I was younger he had a few atari machines. one of my uncles had an NES also there were at least 4 original Gameboy's around my grandparents' house.

When I was about 8 years old on a family trip to Howe Caverns an Asian boy left his original Gameboy at the playground in the motel we were staying at. I waited like 5 minutes afterwards, while playing the gameboy, until I left. The funny thing is the game it had wasn't in English. So now I had a Gameboy and my uncles had the games and I had some weird "foreign" game. For some odd reason I like it the most out of all the other games we had. The basic idea was to kill all the "bugs" on screen before the timer ran out.

Anyways, yeah...whenever I talk about what game I had growing up that Gameboy story always males it in. :D

This has been your friendly Beat Up Tanked!

Stretch, your stories of being a spoiled little kid are not helping my feelings of hostility...

However, I do feel better that you at least didn't mention a Sega Nomad. I stole one from my neighbor when I was like 12.

Are you a masochist or didn't you know that it drained batteries like crazy?
