I find it funny that the convo got shifted to professional MNC, didn't even realize there was such a thing lol. Anyways, armor isn't completely useless on sins, especially in pugs. Usually you can get grapple killed from the front unarmored by noobs. If you use gold armor, that no longer happens and prevents a lot of death I find, especially in laggy situations. You can usually dash away at this point, or smoke bomb to safety. So for all the people looking to enjoy the game, it is definitely not a waste. However, most good sins will just always go for the back grapple, unless you've already been damaged.

Btw I didn't mean to offend any Uber fan boys, but then again I should probably keep in mind where I am posting. So whatever...
