    Has anybody tips for a good FREE video capturing software on the PC that works with MNC? I have Fraps but only the free version.

    My footage will not make it into the contest but I'm thinking about making a top 10 collection of my most silly deaths. Then I'll probably extend it to the top 100... :lol:

    I was testing my video recording a few days ago and got to round 300+ on Sudden Death Blitz as solo assassin - worth me going through and clipping some of it or is this intended to be multiplayer/crossfire focused?

    Do they have to be selected clips put into a YouTube video (a la montage)? Or can they be entire games in general?

    I like commentating on my videos, so if we need to send montages in, it makes my job a little easier so I'm not essentially uploading the same clip twice. Once for the Smedley's contest and against with commentary over it.

    Shorter clips, montages make it easier for us. We'd rather not go through hours if footage to find interesting bits.

    I'm surprised there's not more.

    Since I already submitted 2 XBOX Montages (bop bop), I guess I'll give the PC montage a try. Is FRAPS the go to tool for PC recording?

    I used Fraps when I recorded mine. Really I think it comes down to if your Computer can handle running the game + recording at the same time.
    Most of the time when I tried to my Framerate died cause my 1 Hard Drive could deal with running the Operating System, Game, Recording, etc...

    But I went out and got another HHD (1TB) and told it to Record on the 2nd Hard Drive and it works fine now.

    Sounds good, I have a 80GB 2nd hard rive, I'll just tell FRAPS to offload the data on it.

    I've already finished stringing together a small highlight reel from existing recordings and figure it'd do until I record more. My first 'tage is about 2:15 I think. Quick n easy, amirite?

    By far my favorite clip was assassinating a sniper who was directly on his ice trap. Luckily it wasn't level 3.

    Yes. I remember putting in a lot of work during those games though because my team mates weren't making much of an effort to push forward (in other words, relatively bad team mates).
