We'll be doing the final editing but we would appreciate it if you could at least keep the clips shorter in size so its faster for us to go through them.

This will be multiple clips for anyone that wants to submit stuff. We'll go through and pick the best ones. It's not limited to a single person.

Well, got my capture card today and I can record in real time while I play :mrgreen:
I don't have access to that fancy JPEG Quicktime compression Eka was talking about.
I'm recording in
MPEG2
1280x720
Vid quality is 25000 (Not sure what kind of measurement this is)
Audio sample rate is 48000 (Not sure what kind of measurement this is)
Audio quality 224 (Probably kbps)

Is this acceptable or do I need to up one of the settings? Or change my recording format?

Damn, if I only got my capture card sooner. Really wish I was able to record the time my Gunner friend slammed a Support right in front of me while I was playing Sniper and I instantly followed that up by grapple throwing that Support out of the arena. It was so perfect!

BTW I did manage to get mpeg-4 of the sniping clips. Youtube has a very nice feature for its uploaders! Good luck to everyone out there! Alot of awesomeness you can capture in this game. No matter what the character. Thats why I love this game.

Because melting the moneyball against those guys 2 mins in would have made for an infinitely less entertaining video to enter into a competition. If I find a situation where me going after the moneyball makes for an entertaining clip, I'll post it.

I laughed aloud when you offed a player named "You Silly Man".
I read the name out loud in an arrogant British tone, followed by repeating it in an angry Frenchman's voice.

It was quite amusing, haha.

If only I had a capture card...
Oh well. If I only appear in the final product for just a second, that's enough for me.

As long as I get to go "Hey look that's me!" to all my friends. Bahaha!

I'm wondering if using an iPhone will still give me good quality...

Damn this sucks I wish I could enter some clips. Most of you just have some normal ole gameplay. I had some ideas for "cool looking" kills and deaths but too bad I can't capture/render in the settings they ask for. :cry: :lol:

It's got a pretty cool death after charge kill showing a friendly Assassin going "what the heck?" :lol:
Also I went to buy a clutch passive and ended up buying charge but it still worked out for me.

Dammit. I wish I recorded every match I ever had.

I remember this time were I got Around The World with an explosive headshot on enemies that were incredibly close to me. It was a quickscope to, it was so sexy.

When I get my new computer, I NEED a capture card. Last night, my team got split, so I went Sniper against four Tanks, and one of my Tank buddies got caught in a level 3 Assault charge on the side of LazeRazor and was sent flying out of the arena with little health left. On a whim, I lined up a shot and as soon as he crossed my reticle, I quickscoped and got a kill by skeet-shot. There should be a protag for that. I also silently cursed myself for not having the ability to record matches.
