I just like the fact that its the first shooter that isnt all about k/d ratio and focuses more on gameplay.

Put me down for Brink. I'm Bethesda's number one consumerist whore.

All I gotta say is Enemy Territories: Quake Wars and was also developed by Splash Damage. Amazing objective shooters are out there, and always have been around, they just aren't main stream.

Brink looks darn smexy. All the videos for it look great. I like all the stuff the developers have said about it, and it seems like it's a class based shooter kinda like MNC so yeah!

Everyone complained, but nobody responded.

Brink is basically a sexy combination of TF2, Mirror's Edge, And other bits and pieces to note. So there's different classes, LOTS of customization (both how your character looks and what kind of skills they have), it's actually team based (you press a button and it'll display a bunch of things that will help your team that you can do, anything from breaking down barriers, to reviving teammates, and it changes based on many factors), smaller classes can do parkour via the S.M.A.R.T. (Smooth Movement Across Random Terrain), or you can do it by hand if you feel like a badass. You get more points by going for objective based goals as opposed to kills, there's no stats so it's less likely that there will be boosters, there's turrets and whatnot around spawns that will make spawncamping "impossible" (we'll see, still kinda skeptical). They're really trying to break through and be different. They're trying to tackle a lot of things at once, but if they do succeed, it's going to be probably one of the best games ever.

Sounds quite interesting, but gameplay videos to me do seem to put it as a sort of unholy class-based Call Of Duty. Hell, I'll have to do a bit more looking into this, but I doubt it'll come before Mortal Kombat in my list of games to buy.
