You can see your enemy's economic state by watching the fabber sprays.
That hasn't magically broken the game.

Can't you also see the number of bombs attached to a bomber go up as the ammo bar fills? I'm pretty sure that was in the game at one point. The ammo bar is just a ui feature that keeps you from needing to zoom in close to see how much ammo is there.

why? All you can judge is the current rate of their energy economy from 0 to 100 percent effectiveness.

Hardly game braking when radar, orbital radar and ow yeah, nano-lathes already show this.

I think removing enemy ammo bars and instead replacing it with a visual effect on the unit themself would be rather nice. For example: How about some glowing capacitors on a holkings which glow more intensely the more it is charged? This way you don't get really precise information (like watching an enemy nanolathe stream) and the game looks more awesome.

That's a great suggestion, ace. It's probably more of a polish thing than anything else, but I'd love to see some ominous red lights on my bombers when their bays are full.

There are a couple different implementations for that - I think it'd be better if the default state looks much like it does now, with things turning OFF as they are recharging. Alternately, you could have recharging lights only.

Visual indicadors look good on paper, but imagine if the person is really low on energy. The "reload animation" would either freeze or travel in slow motion, looking very lazy.

That's why you create a animation that looks good when slow too.
