Secret Identity

There very well may be conditions to it, but I know for a fact that when people use this glitch on the other team, I only see their clubtags above their name.

I like to call out where players are, particularly if they are skilled. Its great to always know where a forum-goer is on the map, either to confront them, or stay away!

For bonus points ... does anyone know how to make a "<" actually appear in your pro-tag?

I'm going to guess escape it with either /, \, ", or ' . not tried though, there's probably and escape character somewhere...

I've never seen a player in game that didn't display the full club tag + GT even on hidden names. I've only ever seen the glitch work in the lobby.

Must just be me, but in-game I usually identify everyone by class. Dead sniper, dead Assassin, dead gunner, etc. I hardly ever pay attention to the gamertag.

It is annoying that people do this. I don't know why they do it. What are they trying to accomplish? You made your GT disappear, whoop-de-friggin-doo.

I've confirmed that it can blank out the name in the kill screen area where the endorsements are shown, though the upper-right corner still shows the names.
