AGREE! Ive been going assassin for few days to get some wins instead of going uber streak with a loss
It could also not record your wins if you are party'd up with more than 3 people? Not sure if the game can track that, but that would get rid of 6 man pubstomping teams since those guys usually all care about the stats :roll:
A six-man pubstomping team will only win one game. Why? Because everyone on the opposing team will rage-quit after one minute. I know. I've done it.
@IrradiatedRadex That's why I don't like having a party of 6. Remember what happened today? I tried my best to pull you out(and join me) from Zany's party because I knew that the game won't start. And it's super boring having a party of 4 above. I feel having a party of 2 is the best. I can rely on your Tank/Support and you can rely on my Gunner/Support. Having 2 fatties(Gunner and Tank!) teamed up is fun.
Keep KDR. Put in WL. Also put in some Protags and Highlights for win streaks and challenges revolving around winning. "Winning in under 5 minutes, 10 minutes." "Win a game under 5minutes all tank." etc.
God no!!!! If that happens we'll have to put up with 'GTA something' making more threads about overpowered classes...he's already made 2 about all support teams.
I like the protags for win streaks, and how about we just make it that you can only invite 2 people (including yourself that would be 3), in the menu for crossfire Oh and how would you calculate W/L ratio? Do i just get my wins off the leaderboards and divide it by the number of "pay day" pro tags ive got?
Replace K/D with W/L and I can effectively see this game becoming nothing but 3 minute matches all around. Even if I'm on the losing team, I'd rather have a match last longer than that and feel like I actually played a game than have to sit in the lobby longer than the actual match. Besides, it's not like anyone can see your K/D. I don't really get why it matters.
In the end, the final score doesn't matter, as long as you win or lose and, most importantly: HAVE FUN. But this is a game that really rewards players for not dying. You get kill streak money and extra money by picking enough enough speed boosts. When you die, you lose map control and you force your team to play a man down for the next few seconds while you respawn. As much as I don't care about KDR, it does help to see how much I've grown as a player.
Yeah nobody can see your K/D anyway so it's pretty much pointless. Oh and matchmaking isn't based on K/D either.
k/d forces people to play for kills and forget the objective. it is the sole purpose of pub-assaults.
