Juice is still an annoying concept, and I play Assassin. People who say "It's so easy to deal with" obviously don't have face to face encounters with them too often. Any lag makes you dead before your grapples register, and any Juicer worth their weight in salt isn't going after other Pros anyway.

Here's a suggestion: Crowd control grapples. Hell, non-crowd control grapples will waste their Juiced time.

Juicing has definitely gotten better with the added timers added to the machines where it is a pretty good balance. I would like to try something a tad different though.

I would like to try having the juice machines shut off in OT, but trade off by having every ones ability to gain juice slightly increased. Not a whole lot but just a tad. Maybe even just add the increase to killing pros and keep the rest the same. This way maybe it would focus on the team pushing up to include all your support sitting in the back to push the enemy back into their spawn To me it feels like juice is something to be earned not bought.

Either way juicing now is less of an issue than what it used to be.

I feel like I do gain juice faster in OT. IDK if you actually do but I feel like it.

You get all endorsements at the gold level in overtime which includes juice - so yes
you do gain juice at a faster rate.

that isnt what the juice endorsement does. the only thing it does is let you start off with a little bit of extra juice when you spawn.

You get juice faster in OT because of the gold rof ....and clip size endorsements that get added

I think maybe if they took away the ability to buy juice.

The timer did help but I think the game would be better without buying juice as an option.

Also tacos should be the next power up they add.

    Story time.

Recently I realized that juice(a game mechanic I've always felt at least a bit ambivalent about at best) is basically the exact same as another game mechanic I've come to consider as more or less a huge factor in how I(and everyone else for that matter) play another franchise. Musou in the Dynasty Warriors games, since 2001 at that. Nine years.

They are so similar it's painful. They're both based on filling up what amounts to a "super" or special attack meter like those fighting games have had since the mid-to-late 1990s. Practically everything you do fills up both of these meters, the only difference being that the Musou meter also fills slowly when you're at lo health automatically.

But here's the real kicker. For all the crying about juice anyone has ever done, Musou has something on it that absolutely everyone unfamiliar with the game would be tempted to yell "OP" as soon as they hear it: complete invincibility. When you unleash your character's Musou attack in the Dienasty Warriors games, you are completely invincible, multiple strikes break the enemies' block, and it even cancels out their attacks to leave them exceptionally vulnerable.

Why isn't Musou in the Dienasty Warriors games OP at all? Every single enemy can do exactly the same thing to you and your only option is to unleash your own Musou(canceling out both attacks) or GTFO. Juice is pretty much the same, except juiced players merely have increased stats rather than outright invincibility and the ability to cancel out all your non-juice attacks.

I hate saying it, but juice is perfectly balanced. Just play better, try to find a happy balance between sticking your neck out and building up that juice. Once you do, juice as much as your opponents are and see how much they like it. They won't. Now please stop crying about how juice is OP :D

^^ Only Difference is.. in Dynasty Warriors you play against AI, not players.

Except for the ones with online abilities, which have been coming out since 2006. And Musou is still perfectly balanced in them without a single change as well. I think it's an excellent comparison :)
