There is 1 game mode, in fact, that is (I think) 4-player co-op against waves of robots.

Similar to horde mode on GoW.

1-4 players with various different challenges. The focus being defending your MoneyBall, building turrets around the base and upgrading your character during combat.

Is it possible to play Crossfire against the AI with one or more human players?

I dont think so -- kinda defeats the purpose. Human controlled players + bots VS bots..

One thing I wonder though, is there a difficulty level for PvE games? (Humans vs. AI)

There is effectively a difficulty level because there are different challenges to complete. Some are harder than others.

There is no player simulation "bot" AI. We originally thought we might do that but blitz mode is actually a lot of fun without them. Scope wise it would be a lot of work to create AI's to utilize all of the skills the players have.

Yup, Demigod has proved that creating an AI that can keep up with a decent player in a similar gamemode is a big challenge indeed. Hopefully I can convince enough SupCom fans to get MNC to form a nice clan to train Crossfire. But that shouldn't be much of a problem, many SupCom players are interested in MNC. The more videos they see the more they want to play it. Hurry with the PC version please!

just wondering...is blitz like horde from GoW2 where there is an end? if so...how many waves are there? or is it a survival mode?

There are a number of different challenges with all types of lengths, difficulties, etc.

Blitz is very much about the strategy of which class you choose, how you employ the skills of that class, how you earn money, how you use that money and what turrets you build where and when.

How many types of turrets are there?

Look through some of the released videos.
