    Poor AI commander still doesn't seem very concerned about lounging around on the beach and getting punched in the face by naval bombardment until it goes boom.

    Played for the first time in quite a while, and had a lot of fun!

    yes elodea ive seen this bug as well. Along with 4 other people I played with so its a huge bug. Ive been getting pa.exe has stopped working almost every game. When I reconnect I see no units just an empty planet...Uber can you fix all these huge bugs?

    once we get height map editing and the modding community figures out how to get custom csg in game then I will be making replicas of the solar system that we reside in

    So 16 gig of ram or gtfo. Per planet. 2500 radius a piece. But.... I'd need to have a machine with like 5 ghz clock speed and like 32 gig of ram to even have hopes of making it. And probably 8 gig of vram to be able to handle the number of csg I'd use. If someone gives me that comp then yell Yea sure I'll spend a month hand crafting earth. Hell I'll make a server mod that scales units down to 0.1 also.

    I've got 32GB RAM and I could probably overclock my CPU to 4.5GHz if I really wanted to, but I just run it at stock 3.5GHz - it's got a good water cooler on it though, and I did test it a while back.

    Anyway, I've only got 2GB VRAM, and there's no way I'm going to hand craft Earth, let alone the Solar System, in Planetary Annihilation!

    And @cola_colin has already made a mod to scale units down but I don't know if it is compatible with the current build.

    Nope 5GHz isnt enough. you'd need 10 or 15 GHz

    Oh, and also, when I use a planet editor mod I can set the gas giant radius to something below 1000, but when I get into a game it will automatically set it back to 1000 (NOT in the system editor) while in game.

    I don't know if that would help anything or not.

    The units used in PA I think are metres. That means you will need to create a 6,378,100 radius planet, or just a 6,378 radius planet and then scale the units by 0.001 :)

    don't expect pathfinding to be able to deal with that. Or the camera.
