[REL] Transparent Strategic Icons V4.1 (Galactic War)

I am too hoping for some more "interactive" uniticons in the future PA builds .. but for now it is not possible (at least for me ;-) .. check out the "Alerts Filter" by raevn ! this should help you gettin noticed if a construction is finished.
I think (and hope) that the existing uniticons are "first pass" for now.. things like "under construcion" .. "idle engenier" .. "reloading ammo" "assisting" "patrol" and so on are still missing!

.. a good readable strategic overview is a must have 4 a game like PA

Why don't you replace the screenshot on the first post with that one? It shows the transparency much better and the value of the icons being transparent.

I will do that as soon as its ready to release .. right now it still looks like on the first page

Orange needs some tweaking with the lights and darks looking almost the same, where as a colour like purple is setup perfectly.

Not sure about the half-and-half icons.

its very very difficult to tweak for one individual colour, because all teamcolours use the same uniticon as a baseicon :-/ .. I could show you some work (my "internal V3..4..5..6.. ) where the light colours look really cool but the darker ones look like crap .. and other versions its the other way around .. sadly

so this V3 is kind of a tradeoff to make all colours readable ..

.. half and half icons are a tradeoff too for the moment .. ideas on that are very welcome
