Technically possible yes.
well get on it then!
Finally got around to trying this, so far it looks like I'm getting better performance (at least early game) than having using the 2nd PIP mod, and it shows more. I'll have to confirm this the next time I play an actual game instead of just fiddling with an AI.
Would it be possible to make shift click open the location you are clicking on in your PiP window?
Cola, which file controls the location of the UberMap? I'm trying to figure out how to drop it down so I can expand the player panel in spec mode without blocking the map.
The size is controlled from within ubermap.js starting around line 2010.
The position is in ubermap.html around line 32.
as someone who is always suspicious of mods that arent current, is this mod bug free?
If there were any serious problems I would expect that they would have been posted in this thread and addressed by this point.
I've at least not been told by anybody that it does not work.
works for me, it's just currently there are alot of mods that break something or another on PA. like 1 year ago the Chrono Cam click mod made it so that the review wouldn't load. dunno if it's still true but i like to steer clear of mods like that
All you can really do to make sure it is not a mod is to disable mods when you have a problem and check if the problem persists even without mods.
I was thinking if you could make it so that it would only show the map of currently (or last) focused planet, maybe add a tickbox setting for it This would possibly increase performance as well in big systems.
PS. love the mod <3
Maybe one day. Not actively doing anything PA related at this time and not having any plans to change that in the foreseeable future. Other plans.
It is one of the best mods.
I hope it can be transferred to the PTE for the in-game PAMM.
Does that require any manual work to be done?
Apparently it has been disabled by @mikeyh, so I'm thinking it breaks in PTE.
Well that's annoying.
