It would be amazing if you guys got with the Orbital Warfare Overhaul people and your mods had a baby
Updated according to new build. Removed some effects on units (anchors as an example). This mod is doing good also btw >.> 2700 downloads Thanks for using this mod all!
This mod breaks the Astreaus in the Galactic War currently. I'd advise copying your effects array into the vanilla file, I'm not sure what's changed but the Astreaus is very different now functionally than before.
Thanks for letting me know I still haven't got time to update the files properly so I'll remove the astreus for now. I'll probably gonna do a big update with the new live build. Thanks again!
Did some more testing and it wasn't Pa-fx causing crashes. I had some messy logs but it wasn't PA-FX so this one is back online!
This mod is amazing Freelancer! would it be at all possible to make all the red lights (only) be team-colored? I get confused and think my units always belong to red.
Loving this mod! I can't wait for further updates like the orbital radar. Combined with some other visual mods this game is starting to look nice as well! p.s. combined with the darker nights mod (the light version) The nights become really beautiful thx to pa fix his lighting on buildings and units!
@Alpha2546 could you please remove the flashing lights from the Avengers? It's a little much. I would prefer if the flashing lights were on structures only. It's been a while since I've used this mod and I must say it's improved a lot.
Oh it's been removed from PAMM.. Whyyyyyyyyyyyyy! I better not accidentally uninstalled the CResources mod then. I don't like the PA-FX mod, it's too flashy for my liking. The CResources mod is more subtle. @Alpha2546 Is there any chance you could update you PA-FX mod so that it has a settings page where you can choose which effect to turn on/off?
Why is it impossible? I'm not a modder so I'm just asking. Other mods, such as Hotbuild2 have a settings page. Alternatively, maybe a single mod could be added to PAMM for each effect so that I can choose which effect mod to install? Simply add a TAG (PA-FX) to each individual mod so that I can easily view in PAMM. I don't ask for much but I would be infinitely grateful!!!! @Alpha2546
It's impossible to modify json blueprints dynamically via settings. They are locked when the game loads.
Indeed the game checks and loads up the mod as soon as you fire pa up. So in that way its impossible to do this. There could be ways around this but it would get all very hack and not really worth it. I never Liked this mod from a technical view. It edits a lot of json files which I prefer to avoid in my mods. At the moment it contains a lot of old code from older builds which obviously isn't a good thing. Somewhere in the future this mod will get obsolete and pulled off from pamm. Some things I will rerelease separately updated on Pamm and some things will completely disappear. The things that i'll rerelease will all fall under a specific tag. You'll see that in time.
