Tell me more about this faction
How to get marshall's lament.
1. Convince someone to make you a comm.
2. Name it Marshall's lament.
3. Convince them to use it.
Aww, I was totally going to name a unit after you in my legion mod-mod but then you had to go ahead and abuse mod powers so now I can't.
I try the PTE just for this mod.
I am still new for Legion.
I find the land units of Legion is very very slow.
It seems to be difficult to stop the MLA expands everywhere.
I feel that the only unit for Legion to stop enemy expansion is air units.
I kinda wanna see what Uber think of the expansion, and whether they'll offer to include it in the base game - cos this **** is fuckin' sweet
I cant get on any 1v1 ladder matches without going back to the other version. I disabled all server mods.
Yeah, PTE, servers are different from live build servers. In any case, you won't ever be able to use Legion in ranked.
While that would be cool, it's probably not gonna happen since the mod is being developed by the community. Can't just allow content in your game that's out of your control, not to mention the question of directly making money of it when the modders don't get anything for it.
So I guess an official endorsement is the bet we'll get. It's still a big step tho. The publicity also increases the chances of secondary mods (PewPew, QuellerAi, etc) supporting Legions, which is good too.
Also, the thing brought me back into the game, might've otherwise never actually tried the legions mod. Might have happened to other people as well.
The available color scheme is a step down.
you can turn it off
In terms of being able to select any secondary color? Yeah, I think Mikeyh will have a completely different set soon that won't have the regression.
Queller AI already supports Legion.
For Legion, less harass and more amass. Start defensive and move out in waves. Fortify where necessary. (Legion T1 mex get 1 more metal per tick.) Let them break their units on your amassed units, then counter push. If possible, make a proxy base near his commander.
Use air to harass if the opponent doesn't go heavy air. Otherwise on large maps use lancers mixed with Peacekeepers. Legion favors good group composition. Play some games against an easy AI to get a feel for the units.
I think the Legion orbital Titan: Tyr should get some effect adjustment.
It fires the laser to the ground.
But in fact, his damage range is much larger than the effect shows.
That, in fact, will be in the next release, though it's the damage radius being changed.
By the way, I like the effect of lighting and the plasma on the ground.
However, I don't like the pumped rock on the ground.
How about replacing the rock with the lava?
Checking that was one of the first things I did. :3
We need a new sub-forum for Legion Expansion.
It is obvious that we need multiple threads to spread and cluster ideas.
You could use the Mod sub-forum with [LEGION] as your thread title tag.
