Instant Sandbox 2.4.2, fix compatibility with Exodus mod. - Remove obsolete incompatibility check for PAStats matchmaking - Add hasOwnProperty guard to array enumeration
Noticed that modifications of the System which is set to be loaded, are not taken into account. You have to re-set it for each modification, is it intended ?
I capture the system definition when it's selected. I could perhaps capture the name and pray it's still there later, but I'd need more intimate knowledge of how the game stores systems. Hasn't been a big difficulty for me, is it causing you trouble?
Not really, it's just that I have been making some updates to my test system lately, and I didn't understood while it didn't reflect in the game started just after with IS. Had to re-start it 2-3 times and check in System Designer I didn't forgot to save changes to figure it out That was my understanding of how it would work How about : Try to load set system with it's name like you said. If found, launch game. If not, go to 2. Load stored system (current implementation / backup mechanism) and launch game. Anyway, it's an edge case. Don't bother if you don't have time or it's too complicated for the little added value. Now I know, and readers of this thread who didn't before, too
Instant Sandbox 2.5.0 - Game has a new busy spinner - Attempt to load current definition of system by same name - Go-to-lobby works with local server - Updated defaults.settings object to current structure - Bring back AI Commanders Per Army - AI personality can be fully set in defaults - Stock personalities can be selected in settings - Setting to land anywhere, on by default
Instant Sandbox 2.5.1 - Update menu button style circa 76456 - Remove disable timeout since it doesn't shift the quit button anymore PAMM submission seems to be down at the moment, so not yet updated there.
This might be silly for some reason I'm missing but all of the sudden for me instant sandbox a couple days ago started being a pair of avatar factories, which I think is better for testing and stuff. I have 2 requests and a suggestion. 1. Can you disable fog of war or at least give me full radar so I don't have to search the planet for the AI factory? 2. (Much harder no doubt.) Can you give me control of the AI so I can make it spawn stuff for testing purposes? (think physical chess board) Or maybe make it so I can gift units to the AI? That way I could build/setup whatever and then suddenly put it under AI control? Suggestion: A version of this for galactic war mod testing, like you'd click it, pick a loadout, and it launches identically to how it does in skirmish apart from the default loadout changes/unlocks. Anyway, thanks for always being helpful and for making this
Sounds like you've got the comyard mod on. Use the cheat allow change vision server mod Use the cheat allow change control & cheat allow create unit server mods I also recommend Sandbox Unit Organizer (or Sandbox Unit Toolbox if you need things not in the build bar) and Improved Player Control As you've noticed GW is a very different beast. Simply launching a GW mode game would be a bit of work, and then I'd have to figure out how much of the card processing logic I could reuse.
Instant Sandbox 2.6.0 - Enable sandbox/cheat mode (80404-pte+) 80187 simply ignores the setting without complaint.
Instant Sandbox 2.7.0 - Start the game in the current active-product/expansion/content mode (e.g. Titans)
I have a request, once I've selected a planet to use in the settings, there is no way to go back to using the dev biome. I've had to just change the source for that xD, but I would like an option for clearing the settings. Another request, there is now an Idle AI personality, which means the eco doesn't have to be 0.0 to stop it from doing anything. I would like to be able to select that option in the settings
