Couldn't see it on PAMM after your post. Downloaded the archive and tested a bit yesterday (the number of AI now work, yay - it wasn't if > 1 previously) PAMM still want to "update" / downgrade it to 2.1.0, guess you forgot to push your change to pamods github
What options are you using? (they are under Settings, UI) It would be really helpful if you had devtools/Cohrent-debugger set up, but that involves copying some files into the game.
Able Progenitor and Team commander explosion color. When i restart PA while loading i can reconnect to the game lobby and from there it works.
That didn't do it. You could try posting the custom system details, but I'd expect it to be stuck on "Generating Planets" if that was the issue. I'll probably need a debugger report do anything.

I've got the same issue here too; I didn't configure any sandbox settings, i just installed the mod then clicked "Instant sandbox". As such, it was default options; Play: Play. Action: Start. Player Economy Slider: Max. AI Economy Slider: Minimum. Armies Slider: Minimum. I quit out of PA and restarted it, this time going into the sandbox setting. I selected the system Midnight Night System. I set "Action" to Lobby rather than Play. Same issue.
Was able to reproduce by loading a blank storage; patch incoming, but the workaround is to go pick a commander in the armory.
