Should be doable. It's actually a bit hacky atm; there's no way to actually get the commander HP number (last I looked), only it's health %, so I'm multiplying that by the current figure for Commander HP. Thankfully, both commanders are currently the same.
This is because in the OP the wrong folder was used: <PA Install directory>/PA/media/pa/ui/mods/ Instead use: <PA Install directory>/PA/media/ui/mods/ There the mod folder is already in place. As this was the first mod to install for myself, i made the same mistake. Good luck.
Ah good catch, I've corrected the OP. Thanks to the power of Copy + Paste, some of my other mods have the same error
Any chance you could make a graphic to appear in the centre of the screen when the comm is at, for example, 50%, 25%, 10% health? And something flash on screen (like, centre of screen), when under attack, once Uber have improved the built-in 'comm under attack' check. I have lost at least two games recently because I simply forgot that my comm was under attack or in danger (silly, I know). THere is so much to juggle in this game, and I'm getting better at that, but I can forget about the comm sometimes). Something flashing in the centre of the screen would be ideal to get the player's attention
please no not at the center, maybe move the resourse bars down and put it on top or just leave it on the right or left side, but not at the center because that would screw up my economy UI mod v3 intergration to the modpack
I'm very bad at this stuff, it's a miracle i manage to get the mods to show up and not kill something in the ui
Then maybe you should try to get better at it instead of trying to manipulate how others build their mods
I stopped using it a build or two ago because it conflicted with something. Not that it failed to work completely, but the layout was broken when going into system view or something.
I've updated it to work with the current build (55089), fixed the number with heaps of decimals issue and moved the system view out of the way edit: oh and reformatted the javascript to be readable. Thanks for the mod raevn
@raevn I've uploaded my mods on to github https://github.com/danzel/planetary-annihilation-ui-mods And I'd like to put this one up there too if that is okay with you. I've used the MIT licence for my mods, they don't really need protection, but it's good to have one. Happy to move the repo to an organisation on github if you think that'd be useful.
