    I'm surprised you haven't been approached by Uber to work with them on this! Hotbuild has been a godsend - thank you so much for your continued work on keeping it running and updated.

    Well their code isn't such a mess compared to mine :p
    Haven't seen any UI code like my "hotbuild" tab yet, so it will be a surprise for me as well.
    But hey it's cool that they take inspiration from the modcommunity and do their own thing ! I hope a lot of features have been taken over. But there will be missing features for sure. So I don't think hotbuild2 will die completely, it maybe use some vanilla code/features in future and that's cool.

    Last time I looked I could easily convert the hotbuild2 config to their version so that's something I want to do when it's out. So people don't have to start from scratch again if they want to use vanilla.

    I need more time, too much time goes to exodus so that I don't have time left for modding.

    I like the fact that they take inspiration from mods as well!!
    A bit sad though, that you lose your hard work, but it does mean you inspired Uber to make the original game even better ;)

    Why would your mod die out just because they roll their own? I am sure they won't have all the features directly and as long as yours works I won't change anything. I used hotbuild1 month after hotbuild2 was available as well. ;)

    I like that Uber have made steps in making the default keybindings more useful for the majority, but for the way I like to play the new build is a step back - it now takes 2 keypresses to build things instead of one, and the keybindings are nowhere near as memorable for me as my hotbuild2 setup; I like a mnemonic system where the key means something, e.g. 'v' for vehicle factory, 'r' for all sorts of radar, etc, and I can't see a way of doing that with the new build, e.g. a naval factory is always item 1, as is a wall, as is a fabber, but I want different keys for those ('n', 'w', & 'f')

    Please tell me there's the possibility of a hotbuild2 update with it's awesome flexible keybindings!

    same here. P refer hotbuild 2 mainly because I'm used to it now, but also because of what was said in the above post.

    You modders are lifesavers, me thinks :). I started to use Hotbuild just a while ago, but now when it's gone (temporarily), I really realized how damn good it is. Big thumbs up for working on it.

    and new version on PAMM
    - Settings UI is back it just looks a bit ugly but I think it's working mostly
    - Fixed so Hotbuild works in Galactic War

    Still lot's to do
    - Imbawall broken in GW
    - UI visualizations in game
    - Probably a lot of other bugs
    - building factoryunits

    I'll see what I can fix this weekend ....

    Looks like there's some issues. Commander build orders works fine (and fabbers too), but when trying to build units at factories, some keys work, some not.

    Hrm, not sure if it's your mod or PA, but hotbuild is refusing to save settings.

    Yeah it's the settings manager mod that breaks it.
    Gonna take a look at it tonight ! So yeah if you need to save settings deactivate all mods that use settingsmanager.
