leo put tinfoil in the microwave... anyone know what happens when you do that?

Ive done it a few times by accident.. had a plate with a metal rim around the outside, left a spoon in a bowl of sauce, and well tinfoil.
Microwave loses effectiveness after doing this i think...

If the magnetron or capacitor gets damaged yes. But it depends on the frequency your microwave runs at.

I had the door on a microwave break once. Faraday cages are amazing. It SUCKS when they go missing...

Dear Diary,

I am on a road trip around Washington till the end of the week. I'm taking pictures of stuff. This first batch of pictures is mainly of going through the cascades and a little bit of Lake Wenatchee and the town of Laevenworth. Also 99% of these pictures were taken from a moving vehicle that had several layers of bug kill on it, so don't expect the best quality of pictures. And if you have any questions about the area feel free to ask. I'll have more pictures shortly.

It was very good. We also got some brautwurst while we were there.
