The Gunner's main goal is to suppress players
The Assassin's main goal is to go behind enemy lines and pave a path for their team
The Support's main goal is to support their team where needed
The Tank's main goal is to distract and take damage
The Assault's main goal is to push forward and pave a path for their team
The Sniper's main goal is to support the team from long distance.

Basically all of the classes' goals is to win the match. the Players are the only ones whose goal is to slay

The gunner's job is to kill players and lead pushes/control areas of the map, maybe killing turrets if necessary. The tank's job is to lay down suppressing fire with the rail gun and help control the bot lanes. The assault's job is to clean people up and chase down weak opponents. The assassin's job is to kill bots. The sniper's job is to pick off heavies and help control the bot lanes, while being able to push up with juice. The support's job is to keep everyone alive and have a firebase to control bot lanes, while taking out enemy firebases with airstrikes.

1 person can't do all of these things. Pubs prove nothing really, 6v6 team vs team matches are where skill really comes out. A lot of players are very reluctant to do this, saying they'd rather play for "fun", but this is much more "fun" in my opinion.

Since no one mentioned it... the gunner is the best pro at killing turrets. Strangely this new turn for the conversation is off topic but far more appropriate to worthwhile discussion.

My brother came back from college for a few days and saw me play MNC.

He was curious and thought he give the game a try.

Apparently today he said he played a gunner called IDeadEye that he noticed was from my friendlist and said he wrecked that guy and asked me who he was.

I told him it was a guy who's pretty good at gunner.

He told me he was a joke and my brother only played the game for 2 days (lvl 45ish) and barely games anymore due to pre-med courses.

I'm just curious, did this actually happen?

well for how often deadeye likes to say hes with friends or going out (which in just about every message he sent me over XBL he was always with friends) he sure is on alot. and no deadeye this isnt shini even though you think he does everything

Shammas you do realize the Tank is the best bot controller in the game right? He has a single move that can take out, at least, 6 Blackjacks at once. Not to mention with his passive level 3 he also has the highest natural health which means he can be in the thick of it, controlling bots, and can stay in it longer. Imo the Railgun is used for when an Enemy, Bots and Pros, happen to get out of the range of his Jetgun.

I know, I've been told 1000 times. It's all about map control, and the tank is probably the best class at doing that. Making sure that no one leaves their spawn with full health is very important. In serious matches, people will call you out and everyone will shoot you at once, so the last place a tank wants to be is in the bot lane. That's why we use our assassin to get in there and get out quick if spotted.

But that's exactly what the Tank wants. All the attention on him. Plus it's hard to shoot at something you can't see. (prod.nade) Also in a "serious match" what makes you think a Tank would be out there alone?

if what shamas said is to be held true then if hudson was the tank-he killed bots. bolt was a sin-he killed bot and turrets- gregg was a support he killed turets and bots. hmmmmmmm now whats the prblm.

According to Hudson I'm the best Gunner. No, I'm not a MLG pro becaus I got top 12, I was an MLG SR online pro in 08 though, and won some decent change. I don keep track of everyone I play with, but if someone says I'm bad they caught me not trying, probably letting friends win if we got split up. If you think I play this game a lot you're mistaken, I only get on to play if Himi hits me up, I just slay massive amounts of kids so it looks like I play a lot. And I never said gunners couldn't take out turrets, I just think they're best used to slay because they're balanced short-mid-long range in most fights.

Oh and Greggy, grow a sack son. You all did terrible, but you did absolutely nothing. Hudson and bolt killed bots and turrets, but you were more useless than Billy Mays' heart

Nah, I don't talk about gaming with my actual friends. But a few bowls and a couple beers gets panties dropping. Not saying I'm a stud or anything, but I'm definitely not as big of a nerd as most you kids.

Ehh. It depends on the girl. I've known some really slutty girls who was just a plain old nympho, and just loved to F. But as a rule of thumb, girls get more emotionally attached.

And Hudson.. I don't do the A/S/L thing. Don't have a webcam and I don't like phonesex, so that's a no-go. All you need to know is that I'm old enough to drink, been to college, and had more life experiences than most gamers... Though I am young at heart.

LOL, nah, but it helps. I actually rarely drink, but drunk girls at parties are prime. Personally I'm more of a fan of a few bowls and a movie.

It's so amusing how obsessed you guys are with me. I make 1 post and 5 people dissect it and post regarding to specific things I say. It's a bit annoying, but hey, forum kids will be forum kids. And before you talk ****, come see me. I've proven that I can outslay all the 'good MNC kids', I wonder what that makes me..
