There's a reason EA has been voted the worst company in the world for two years in a row.

They are dirty, and kill game franchises.

...and the reason is selection bias. There are plenty of companies that take advantage of people in far worse ways than EA ever could, but gamers were far more vocal about their issue with EA than any other group. I'm not saying I agree with EA's practices, how they've handle acquisitions (many of which I'm sure they regret due to their mistakes) and their recent approach to micro-transactions, but they do still publish good games and they certainly aren't the worst company in in America*.

*not "the world", and I'm surprised you didn't catch yourself there because it would be completely ridiculous to think so.

And the reason they publish good games has little to do with EA.

They buy out good gaming companies and steal what they created.

And their sports games... well. It doesn't take much thought to digitize a game that already exists. And they have exclusive rights so they have no competition and no drive to do anything innovative. Just update the graphics a little, add in the new players, and bam, printed a few million dollars.

#$%*&y company. The few good games they produce is because someone else made them.

The gaming industry would be better off without them.

Because they're a publisher, first and foremost.
And they don't "steal" what those companies created; those companies had a choice in the matter, decided to go through with the deal and EA just made poor decisions after the fact. I'm sure they aren't happy when they screw up, it means losses for them as well.
My point is that EA isn't evil, it's a publisher that has played an important role in the development of many good games (albeit indirectly) that has made both fair and poor decisions. The gaming community includes a lot of people who are completely ignorant of things like this. People get mad, they vilify publishers/developers/commentators regularly if any content (which they are not obliged to invest in) does not meet their expectations, which are often misplaced. This is even the case for free games, such as the Diretide fiasco last fall, and more recently the issue surrounding 'flappy bird'.
Sure, EA may have published some bad sequels, but that doesn't make them evil. Flappy bird was a simple, mindless clone of a clone of a bad game, but its developer didn't deserve the hate he received for making it. Blame the companies that sold out to them, or don't blame anyone.

It's silly to rate the game since it isn't in a complete state. It's also not worth the price of entry just yet if you weren't a backer.

You can however help with making sure tags seem right. There's like one guy incredibly buttblasted with multiple tags similar to "DEVS DON'T LISTEN TO FEEDBACK," "RUDE DEVS BANNED ME" or something. I don't know his deal.

I think you can rate it for what it is right now, which is a game in development. I don't TOTALLY understand the second statement. I mean, it's £32.99 right now on Steam, which is about the RRP of most new PC games. If you would be willing to pay RRP for the finished thing, then why not pay it beforehand and get to take part in the development of the game? You still get the finished product, after all. Fair enough if you wouldn't pay that as an RRP, I wouldn't normally, I just really wanted to support the game when I saw it on Kickstarter.

Is it fair that people who don't even have the game can rate/put those stupid tags on it? We already know the game is awesome. It's not like Uber is going to turn around and screw it all up.

Not that I would use the tag "Awesome", but I thought PA was just that. When I first smashed a planet into another planet, it inspired awe in me, hence it was "Awesome".
