    On Peel; the bane of Tank's existence is Supports + Snipers, with an Assault thrown in for good measure.

    Highest Sniper Count I've had is...
    55 - 4 K/D.

    And I main sniper. We are capable of shutting down some paths when left alone, but once overtime kicks in we are screwed over since everybody gets GOLD SPEED endorsement and GOLD ARMOR. Including ourselves though...... But there's no such thing as "Aim-Boost!" when overtime kicks in. Accuracy doesn't count!

    I don't think snipers are screwed at overtime at all, but you do have to shift your playstyle pretty dramatically. As soon as it kicks in, I pretty much drop the use of my sniper rifle and rely on flak, SMG, and grapples. Works fine for me.

    Well I speak of sniping in general, not SMG'ing. And I'm stubborn, I attempt to quickscope but during overtime everything flashes and smashes + 3 jackbots... That makes me screenlag and tracking is gone to hell at that point. :C

    Here's a thought why not try defending during OT and use your Ice Traps to CC invading Pros?

    You do know that you play one of the two classes who can actually grapple a JackBot, right? Freeze traps, flak + grapple. There you go, no headshot required.

    @DeadStretch

    Sorry for not handing over ALL the details over my matches, but yes I do throw freezetraps around the moneyball, for whatever harm they can do it's worth it if someone uses the opportunity.

    @Col_Jessep

    I grapple jackbots, but I'm talking about killing pro's now, tracking pro's heads going to hell when I start screenlagging and how sniping for ME goes to hell at that point.
    Whoever can't headshot a fatass like the jackbot really need to reconsider their position in my opinion, and I would chose grapple over headshotting them anyway. I use grapple quite frequently in fact! :mrgreen:

    You also get gold RoF, Clip Size, Reload Speed, and Accuracy which makes the SMG stupid good. It's a tough habit to get into, switching to using the SMG primarily in overtime, but you have to realize the SMG in overtime is nothing like your normal SMG.

    You are probably right, but even though I see the bullets connecting to the targets while using the SMG it doesn't register as a hit, they dont lose HP. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong with the SMG, anyways I favour the sniper. Will give the SMG another chance once the opportunity presents itself.

    When I play sniper on the PC I have gold ammo due to the shrunk clip size balance, this makes the smg have a nice big clip and it works well as a defensive weapon. Best thing I find with the smg is just to tag pro's so they can't health regen.
