The main problem with steel peel is that a sniper can stay in either opening to their base or at the upper level in front of it and push both lanes simultaneously and effectively. Rotating the pillars would not solve this.

Also, while every level (except LaseRazor) has turrets that can be sniped from afar, on Steel Peel you can hit one of the rocket turrets next to the money ball from the safety of your own base, which is a bit ridiculous. Add explosive rounds into the mix and suddenly you're getting random kills from people dropping down to the lower level of their base from the spawn point.

Rotating the pillars would not solve this because they do not come out enough to block the line of sight between the bases. You would need to rotate them and bring them out further, possibly making the entire center circle bigger. However, this still would not block a sniper on the upper level of his side.

This is why the level is broken.

Every level has a broken aspect... every level but steel peel is broken because the top ring of the enemy base is open in the front (a purchasable timed duration forcefield would fix this). For steel peel all you need to do is have the forcefield cover the majority of the left side of your base.

It's called geometry. There are magic spots where hacked rocket turrets cant shoot people. That's a pretty broken concept when you can always ignore 3.3
turrets by standing in one specific place.

No, no, no, that is broken. You should be getting blown up all the time every time no matter where you are on the map.

There is a note about it somewhere from a dev about possibly changing the angles for some turrets. The idea is that you aren't supposed to be able to ignore multiple 3.3 turrets.

It's poor design to pay $2,800 + $550 (for the hack skill) on turrets that just don't work.
