Oh, yep i remember you. I believe i had another invite to play. I'm on fairly frequently. It was putting us on separate teams as well since we had not joined up together, just happened to be in the same room even though i added you as a friend.

Actually, being on separate teams might help as well. That way you can tell me if I'm making myself an easy target or if I'm running into the supposed "death zones". Although any area outside the spawn booth is considered a death zone for me at the moment. I'll get better though.

Heh, main thing i remember you doing is charging in Halo style with guns spinning, which is fun and all, but you were a big target and the only one over there. LOL it just takes time. Maybe we could get 3 or 4 of us together to all go support and just keep you massively overhealed all game.

Funny, in Red Dead I'm usually accused of camping. I tried hanging back the next few times I played but the teams were so absurdly lopsided that it didn't matter what we did. We basically had to take cover in the spawn booth because we would get killed if we took more than two steps out. It was pretty sad. But then we also had players that were in idle mode, too. That's always fun. :roll:

Well adding some people from here should help out from getting spawn camped. I tend not to go in the spawn once it's been pushed up unless the other team thinks they're hot stuff, if i can get that close. You'll see that if people here have it too easy they'll make it harder for themselves by making their own set of rules. Like only using the mortar as a gunner or playing all supports and making a congo line(which i guess can seem demeaning but it's meant to make it a little more fun for both teams)

Thanks to alternatingcaps, somebody named ILOVEYOUMORE or something like that, and a few others that I can't remember, this game became much more enjoyable. I must say it's a lot easier to learn while in a party instead of going solo. I still have much to learn so I'll probably be hitting you guys up again. Alright, enough of the lovefest. Peace out.

Adding me won't do much at the moment. I lost my headset. AGAIN. T.T But here's a few tips. If an Assassin facegrapples you; either on purpose or because you turned around into her back grapple, do NOT slam unless you know she's bad - use your Gunner Grapple. Most Assassins will jump over your slam...then jump on your head and "Surf" you while slashing away.

Never engage an enemy without fully rev'd miniguns unless you're caught off guard.

Pressing down on the right thumbstick will melee. Doing this to an enemy nets you a decent amount of Juice; and Blackjacks are a prime source of it. Don't focus too much on doing this, though!

Stick to walls and ledges; and try to fight from high ground as much as you can.

I shall heed your Gunner Grapple advice. I've developed a habit of slamming anytime danger approaches, which is often countered with a jump and strike. Once I get more comfortable with the controls and learn what all my class is capable of doing then I'll hopefully become a little more effective for my team.

oh and your Slam will also blind bots. Use it is your Assassin and Tank are dead and the bots are gonna go down on your Moneyball like a two dollar whore!

Some of these questions needed an answer but I believe this thread is a shining example that most don't read that part of the game menu called HOW TO PLAY

Hey TOM121etc, I was playing last night and posted a 12-11 K/D match, which I was quite proud of, but then went 0-20 in the next match (although with 18 assists). Anyway, I decided to give Assault a try and did much better. I think it helped starting out as Gunner then switching to Assault. I guess mobility is a big key to my game. Snipers tend to have a field day with Gunners, at least in my case.

I'll probably catch up with you guys late Saturday if you're on.
