Totally agree. I felt this way after a couple days with the game and went looking everywhere I could for a way to turn him off. It's not that it's not funny, but when you put 30 hours into a game, it usually has new lines as you play more so it doesn't get dull (like FPSs). For games like this, giving the user an option to turn up/down music, effects, and voices is just one more way to ensure all users are happy.

And sadly, when the only solution of turning the audio off risks being killed in the game by an assassin, it just makes it that much more annoying.

I don't notice him much either. However I do feel he is vital to the comedic nature of the game. I would love them to vary the lines up a bit more though. Either way he makes me smile :D

I play 9/10 times without sound & I still go usually 20+ kills with less than 9 deaths & never by assassins. I also usually win if my team is actually decent or good too. I never ever get killed unless they are modding the assassin or there is a mob of them. Which is why you should choose the counter classes to a assassin when there is. By playing with the sound off it keeps you paying attention more to your surroundings which will eventually make you a better player. At 1st you might die a lot or not be use to it but it till work eventually. Its just like not hearing a assaults bomb you gotta be alert to where it is on walls or floors just in case & if you see a sniper basically look before you continue on near him cause more likely there are traps. Simple solutions to everything:)

Or you could play with the sound on. You can usually hear an assault's bomb before you can see it, Mickey will let you know when the annihilator is ready or Bullseye is on the map, and sound also helps you tell where gunfire is coming from (not to mention it helps to hear when people get a full juice bar).

    Sound > No Sound IMO.

I just tune Mickey Cantor out, just like ThatsMyStappler. :D

I actually found a way to play without the random lines and music by playing some MP3s on my USB stick and then pausing it but i quickly realized it really takes away the vibe from the game. The sound is overall really well done it just got very annoying at times, but since the patch improved, well pretty much everything, i'm again laughing at his lines instead of grinding my teeth because i couldnt hear the assassin.
Awesome job on Uber's side, MNC is just so much better now

-Mickey Cantor sig removed and thinking of something new and pref complimentary. ;)

(Bit late i know, havent been able to play on Xbox Live at home and at peace for weeks)
