    QFT. It bugged me how immature and obnoxious most of the players were until I saw the "post your pic" thread and realized that basically everyone on here is a child (and many of them badly behaved children, at that). Now I just expect it.

    End result is, you're not going to be able to control how other people decide to play the game. All you can do is do your best to avoid the most annoying ones, and get what fun out of it you can.

    This has just not been my experience. The only games that I ever see more than one or two people quit in have been when one team was just completely thrashing the other, usually when it's a six-man team crushing randoms, or when the lag is just so terrible that it's unplayable.

    I rarely quit in the middle of game unless there's some serious spawn-camping going on, or my wife ::ahem:: wants my attention in the other room, and I've never noticed a significant issue with my games being adversley affected by other people rage-quitting.

    I will admit to being pleasantly surprised at how tolerant some people are. But a vast majority of players, especially from earlier on, would quit for minuscule reasons. Haven't seen as much, but still see it often.

    I agree with this wholeheartedly. As for my take on this, my mentality is objective-based: if I end up with a great K/D ratio in the process, that's just a bonus.

    Recently, I've noticed people leaving right at the beginning of a game if they die first;

    It was me and a group of randoms versus a team of 4-5 on Grenade 3. I chose assault (my worst class) to fill in some gaps. I went right with the sniper, and apparently the entirety of their team did as well. A tank, 2 supports and an assault came up their own jump pad. I tossed my grenade to the middle of the walkway and got a support and tank, the sniper and I finished the tank off while the rest dropped down... to get ejected by me. 4-0 for me in the first few seconds of the game, and the entire team leaves. Only one guy was left to face us.

    It was really annoying because it wasn't as if i did some crazy awesome moves and showed the other team they were in for a crazy fight, I gunned down a tank and hit the ejector. :/

    might i add that, since we started the whole "taunt in your spawn room till the ball goes down" thing, TEG has seen probably half as many rage quits out of our lobbies, and have actually lost a few games that we rightfully would have won if we just started the game guns a blazin'.
