    You're confusing average-use with average-skill.
Average use is how most of the players use the mechanic, not how precise they use it.

While I agree that the attacking team does have the advantage on Uncle Tully's it is countered by the narrow scope and single exit of the tube. Without the advantage of elevation the map would almost ALWAYS end in a stalemate until OT

With the advantage though the attacking team has an extremely hard time pushing the bots past the tunnel's exit. However the defending team has a hard time pushing the bots back at all.

The map design would work better on longer matches than 15minutes where things need to have faster resolutions and actions need to show that they are helping at a faster rate.

Nah, they are just lining up for the next Bieber concert.

Didn't you know? All bots AI are based around 12 year old girls.

Saw a Jackbot get stuck just outside the enemy tunnel earlier
Warned my team over voicecomms and luckily the Supports on my team caught it and didn't heal the Jackbot

One other problem(sorta) with Uncle Tully is how the tank interacts with the bounce pit. It is damn near impossible to avoid getting death blossomed while in the pit as any class except assault.

We're looking into this issue. We had it during test but thought we had it fixed.

I think this map is pretty great. I mean how many other maps can you think of where a single hacked firebase can lock an entire team out of the map?

Having a single bot lane is another great feature, it makes the assassin so much more useful at killing bots because they almost always have an allied pro with them.

The spawn structure is also excellent, like the first point I made, I have a tough time coming up with other maps that give a losing team such an elevation based disadvantage.

I've also noticed that it stimulates play in some of the less used classes. Support, for example, seems to dominate them map, with 2 of them almost always being on the winning team.

I don't like the chicken though. Two or more team members have to leave combat for a minute or more in order to benefit the entire team, giving the other team a temporary advantage while they are gone? Preposterous! It should be like bullseye and juicebot, who allow you to stay near the action and require no long term commitment, granting instant rewards and a quick, easy, reliable and safe way to get a full juice bar in seconds.

The jump pads are also done wonderfully well. No other map allows classes such as gunner and support such great mobility across the entire mid field while letting them maintain a height advantage!

I also like all the high points of the map. They allow assaults a nice safe perch to just nuke the tunnel with grenades, getting effortless kills and botkills from absolute safety, its just marvelous!

The jungling doesn't bother me so much as the central kill box. The middle of the map is usually locked down by the first support to put down a firebase, or the first team of Assaults that push in hard. It's basically where bad players go to die. Good players only seem to push mid when juiced, which is fine, but can be quite frustrating when on a team that's backed up in their spawn. I'm at best, an average player, and I avoid the **** out of the middle, especially the pit. I usually just play Assassin and smoke my way around to the enemy bot spawn and whore up bot kills, hoping my team capitalizes on the slow down in bot waves.

Yea, it's kind of annoying that there isn't really any way to sneak around/past the enemy once they start hitting your tunnel
Can't go up the tunnel due to mortar/grenade spam.
Take the jumppads on the right and you're right there at the thick of it
Take the rainbow pad and you land in the bouncy pit, which requires you to get out to be able to shoot straight(assuming a Support hasn't set up a FireBase in it)
Take the Chickey pad route and you end up right next to the thick of it, with some health knocked off to boot

TL;DR once your garbage team fails to support you in mid within the first minute you basically lose because a single support locks down the whole rest of the map.

    Pretty much

If it were up to me I'd change the Chickey jumppad to launch you to one of the rear platforms instead of the front

That's why you play with friends, and do all this before they do.

    • Do not agree on this.
Snipers are way too strong, since they can trap the landings of jump pads and just troll face and since everyone is using jump pads, it's actualy making Assaults movement weaker bit

    • Yeah I always seem to get caught In these and If you go beneath them to go after them they just jump to the other haha.

Assaults can pre emp this with bombs or a Sniper can also do this with traps, our Sniper always pre emps this. But then they have the same problem. It Is an annoyance definitely. Its really the only strong point for Sniper's though I think.
