Wired Router at fiance's, il test mine when i get home. Guess its the low ping that helps cause its not bad but not great speed.

I don't know why people seem to like my host? My laptop is wireless and my 360 is connected with a cable.

I think hosting has to do with ping like someone else said. There's no question though zooms connection and host is insane

Alot is gonna have to do with the host's geographical location as well. Usually a high Upload speed and a low ping means that they would have a good host, but it seems like MNC performs better with low ping/jitter than high upload. Goldie is in the literal middle of the US, while chron is on the eastern side (where a high # of players are). Seems like we should give some more hosts a shot, as long as your ping is fairly low.

With great hosting power comes great criticism (and great responsibility to constantly refill a lobby when people quit left and right). Some people dont like doing it, i thrive on it and ask if they want to host, it usually shuts up the critics.

There is a difference between HOSTING and ORGANIZING a PM. If I host but still leave all the work of getting people playing to you, it doesn't really help you at all. You are a great leader - there have been times when I asked people if they wanted to PM only to have you log on 20 minutes later and they take your invite :lol:

Choiio, I think that picking the same server is important - we will all get a great response if we cherry pick the server for ourselves. I suggest Chicago (Comcast) so that way it is central and has lots of power to test things.

Snack, I believe I commented on your host saying it played well for me. I'm all in favor of snack hosting and am really interested in seeing Zoom host one. I don't think I've ever seen a speed test like that.
