    Very fun matches last night!

    I finally got an ATG, landed my most epic round the horn, I melee'd Jeff, I got an *** load of hate mail and was picked first in every draft. I couldn't believe it! What a great night!

    Learn to call out!!! Most of the time my team is quite as fvck, if you call out your team will help you kill them (why I felt FoH was a good team). Call out where everyone is and you might be suprised at the results.

    Nice video's gunked. I heard you talk about juice buying and although I figure you still would rather it be turned on, it just puts more emphasis on teamwork. It's really the assassin and tank's job to step up when you had them trapped.

    gunner's relatively a simple concept, but although the idea is the same everyone has their own little variation of play style. I love watching your gunner

    Mircale was saying how it requires more coordination but private matches are formed by random people not teams so its hard to coordinate players that dont know or talk to each other. In team games i can see you how you might want it off to make it more team based.

    I wish i could say the same thing about my gunner. Every time i watch myself play i notice what i should have done and what i shouldn't have done but that's what helps me improve my play. I dont mind my gameplay being picked apart with constructive criticism.

    It might take a game or two but I've seen teams with people who don't know each other work together and pull off really good plays. If you have just a couple of people on a team that have decent communication coordination comes pretty natural. Provided everyone has mics :D

    As far as juice I wouldn't be opposed to having an occasional game where it's on, just to mix things up. It might be nice for all the gunners who seem like they're the least likely to get juice, but are the first ones targeted when someone has it.

    I managed to get juice last game (first time in forever in pm's) and my xbox locked up :evil:

    We could try juice, but I think it'll turn into a campfest again in the centre (unless people realise now that camping the spawnring is the way to win, which I don't think they have yet).

    I'd rather have it be a team effort and play without communcation then get juiced on 8 times by a gunner wasting juices for kills alone and no serious objective play, or have the assassin constantly buying juice and going for kills.

    Mid map control still happens without juice machines on, and the difference is it takes more skill to hold mid map, and not just $500. With juice on, I actually would consider it camping, because too many people have the mindset of having to buy juice as soon as it's up so nobody else does. Juice becomes and objective and you no longer push the spawn ring but instead defend the juice machines.

    Like goldie said, I wouldn't mind turning them on once and a while just to switch things up, but there was a reason we turned them off. The game turned into an individually based slayer rather than a team based objective gametype. Although it's always a bunch of random players and not teams, it's still a team game and one man dominating with juice feels all too much like a pub.

    As far as your gunner. It's very easy to punish a gunner who made one slightly wrong move or went just a little too far. You have no quick out, so it's easy to look at a gameplay and say, oh I shouldn't have done this/that. Wildman is great at using walls and keeping his movements and patterns relatively fresh. Mircale's aim and aggression is great. The thing I like about your gunner is that I feel you're always capitalizing on mistakes and pushes, and that you're constantly in the right place at the right time. My playstyle is reloved around working off others, and you are very easy to work off of. You sit back and play passive when there isn't an opening, but get aggressive and exploit those openings.     Camping enemy spawn ring and getting 2-3 kills before dying > Going 100-0 and staying in the middle

    If you camp their spawn ring, you can keep 1-4 people (depending on who they are) trapped in their spawn for a good 10 seconds before they can kill you. That's more than enough time for your whole team to push up into their base and help out / avenge your death.

    After constantly telling people this (and to no avail) it seems like there's just 4 of us who actually do this (Shammas, Chron, Jeff and myself).

    If everyone did their meta job the ball should drop every game, unless it's a really balanced back and forth game.

    In one of gunked's videos you can hear him say that he's setting up for the spawn trap, so he does occasionally do it too. If I played gunner I would have a lot more fun if juice was on, but it would take the competitive merit out of the game for me. I don't care how skilled all the players are... when you have 2 $500 instant rape machines in the middle, it makes the game less about skill and more about who happened to buy it.

    Although I understand you'd rather have it back on gunked. You're doing just fine without it.

    I will eat crow because credit is deserved where it is due, Gunked's gunner was a great complement to my assault last night in the games we ran that duo, enough where the games we went that duo we were competitive on the lesser favored team, and steamrolled on other class setups. Usually when I die even without a kill I leave an opening for my gunner, several times last night I would do just that and watch Gunked pick up a fast 2-3 kills and gain significant map control

    People often overlooked gunked's ability and credited him to only being good with juice. After a couple games playing assault for him I realized there's just something about his play style and movements that compliments my own. Very easy to work off of.. and gunked + a good assault creates a strong front slaying line and really opens up the field for the rest of the players.

    Wildman and Miracle may still be better, but when skill level is somewhat close, the game becomes about chemistry.

    thread should be called the ride gunked's nuts thread.

    I still prefer juice off, even if I rarely juice. My slamming skillz are much better now because of this (sorry Chron <3).
