you are asking for quite complex stuff there
to me the avenger is quite unique
already as there was until now no other defensive orbital unit that i could move in any rts game i played so far and i played a goodammount of rtsgames

Well there really aren't that many games with legitimate orbital units.

uniqueness can be archived through various factors
not just the ammount of abilities or how something looks
having a very specific use can make something unique already

Seeing as every other unit in the game is symmetrical I love the asymmetrical look of the Avenger!

The boundary between high altitude aircraft and orbital vessels is always getting smaller. Scramjets already skirt the very edge of our own atmosphere, at increasing speeds ever closer to make orbit. I always thought of an orbital fighter as the culmination of this. Its armament would allow light air support, while its extreme engines could kick it into orbit and perhaps to other worlds.

Transferring air between worlds is something that has not been considered for PA. We can strap tanks to asteroids, and maybe float a few boats around, but air units seem hopelessly trapped on the world where they are made. An intra orbital fighter could fix that.
