Or we could just lower the structure health back to where it was.

I do agree T1 raiding is more difficult now, but I like my big lumps of metal to be durable :) alternative ways of dealing damage are cool too!

Your metal needs to be vulnerable. You need to defend them.

You shouldn't be able to do nothing about them and wait for them to get attacked, and then have 2 minutes to send reinforcements to defend them.

Metal extractors should not be durable. Even then, your volatile energy has nothing to do with your metal clumps.

Metal extractors should be vulnerable. You need to protect them.

I'm not following your point at all.

We need to protect our economy. We need to protect them no matter how much health they have. We need to protect our economy no matter what RTS game we're playing.

My point is don't go crazy with the whole "protect your eco idea". It makes sense and all, but I don't want to babysit little magic ground pumps the whole game.

There's nothing to go crazy with.

Just revert to how things were.

    I agree :)
Metal Pumps should be relatively fragile. They're still quite easy to kill when left undefended, but a slight HP nerf wouldn't hurt.

I guess if you REALLY wanted nuke plants and have them explode then you could make them high-cost, but produce huge amounts of energy. This way you wouldn't have strings or fields of them like you do currently. It would actually add more to the diversity you're looking for with each plant type having a variable footprint. That is to say you'd need fewer nuke plants than tidal plants and fewer tidal plants than solar plants.

But anyway, what am I saying, I think the current energy system is just fine.
