I might have to play back through my Black 2.

Might do... not sure yet, but I enjoy playing pokemon games as I've grown up playing them.

also, yeah Lucario isn't special. But any fast high Sp. att/att pokemon can get you through the game and Lucario has that, plus powerful moves like Aura sphere that can't be dodged and is a STAB move.

I don't come to these parts much and should probably make a new topic buuuut:

    Pokemon X and Y, going 3d on the 3ds.

On topic, I skipped Black 1 out of laziness, I'm going through Black 2 slowly now. Liking it so far, my favorite version prior to this was Platinum.

Yeah, I've heard that. Maybe they ran out of colors for titles lol.

Me too. I skipped Black 1 since I sold my DS 2 years ago. I bought a second hand one again last week just for Pokemon Black 2. Really bummed when I heard that Reshiram not Zekrom are not in B2.

    Copying from elsewhere:

The new name appears to be a reference to 3d depth (X,Y,Z axis) or DNA chromosomes
    [IMG]
This kind of makes it seem more like DNA though, but hey it could be both.

I barely know any of the new Pokemon haha. I'm sorta liking it this way though, it means I learn everything all over again. Seeing a new Pokemon and hitting it with an attack to figure out it's type the hard way feels better than knowing everything already. It might be a good thing B2 has old Pokemon in it to start with so I'm not totally lost though.

Well Negima if you ever need any help on anything just say so.

I'd be happy to help as I love pokemon and have been playing since Red/blue got released.

Looking forward to X and Y but they could have gone with a better name or something. sure it fits it with the X,Y and Z axis. But what about Cobalt and Crimson? They did Ruby and Sapphire which was just red/blue so why not do another.

As for pokemon in Black/White 2 I'd recommend catching a Venipede which can be caught on Route 20. I find Bug and Poison to be a good combo and Scolipede is a good story pokemon. (Or maybe I'm just crazy but it's helped me get through the game)

If you like Flygon as well I'd get a Trapinch from the Desort resort when you get your 3rd badge. why? because its a Flygon.

Good thing flygon is considered one of the worst dragons in the game.

If used right though it's great.

It's also not the over rated "Hax"orus and Garchomp.

I will always prefer Dragonite and Flygon over them because of what they can do. But then again I play triple battles more where Haxorus and Garchomp are useless.

Dragonite has the stats and moveset to keep up, flygon doesn't.

The only two dragons flygon beats out are altaria and kingdra, but atleast kingdra has a unique typing.

    EDIT: Dragonite is great

This was pretty much my reaction if I battled someone online and sent out my Dragonite and they sent out any other dragon, why?

    Because it's true.

I did say Triple battles as well, Flygon can be used better in triple battles because of it's levitate meaning I can use earthquake safer and it all depends on moves as I always learned my Flygon U-turn if something could take it out.

    LOL @video.

I'm on my 3rd/4th badge. I didn't know Trapinchs were in desert resort (I'm playing "blind" until I beat the league). I just went with Sandile to fill the hole left by Purrloin.

I really tried to love that Pokemon...I did...but it never learned anything useful up to this point. 9 times out of 10 it never did anything but take a hit.

Dragonite is pretty good, but that's mainly because of his obnoxious multiscale ability. Cloyster pretty much beats his ***, along with any other dragon type.

I'm not sure why you view levitate as a good ability, since every other dragon is flying, garchomp would be using the earthquake, and balloon exists.

    Name : Kurisu
    Pokedex : 149
    Money : 380084 Yen
    Gym Badge : 6

    Party :
    -
    Lucario : lv 54
    Enbuō (Enboar) : lv 43
    Daikenki (Samurott) : lv 43
    Jyarōda (Serperior) : lv 44

I have 2 slots left. I'm saving them for Zekrom and Kyurem.
Do I get the 2 of them before I beat the Pokemon league? Or after?

Btw, my plan is to beat the Elite 4 and the Champion by using Lucario alone.

Tbh, I'm kinda getting bored with the game so I might take a break from it and play LovePlus+ lmao. Seriously.

    After.

Can't remember it clearly on how to get them. (Been a while since I played and I don't really like legendaries)

but It's the same for catching them both at their places. but I think you need to get Zekrom/Reshiram first with the stone.

    Then you can get Kyurem.

as for the elite four with Lucario only, that will be easy.

Only problem you will have would be on Sawk and it's sturdy.

    Me neither.

Suicune is the only legendary Pokémon I like and use a lot.

Lugia is fun too but he appears after beating Red (if I'm not mistaken) so there's not really any opportunity to use his OP-ness.

    What? Enlighten me.

Well... Sawk is a fighting type and it has sturdy so it would be impossible to finish it off in one hit.

I think it knows close combat as well so your Lucario would more then likely get OHKO.

These would be the English names as well. not to sure if you know the Japanese ones more as I've remembered the English. (I'm English so it makes sense, but I've played Japanese versions)

    Oh, okay.

I've also noticed that Lucario has a pretty crappy defense. But hey, speed kills.

    Thank you.

Sturdy gets us all... then we waste all our moves PP because they keep healing...
