For your own mental health I suggest you guys just sit back and relax.

    It'll raise whatever it raises.
But the core game is getting made and the rest will attend to itself one way or another.

I predict that the pledges will go up a little bit when the last streach goal is announced, and a larger bit in the last 2 days

They should release that 5th stretch goal soon. Might give them more funding.

only 5K away from metal planets now! They'll probably announce the last stretch goal tomorrow, so they'll get a nice charge to the finish line

The trend amount just takes the current value and casts it over the remainder of the project’s funding period.

In other words, not a very accurate assessment.

The $1.7M to $2.1M projection is a marginally better indicator.

I am interested to see at what cost the 5th stretch goal is. and if it's practically achievable. I'm hoping for planet sized critters A'la Giga Shadow (Lexx)

Destroying that could be fun

I don't understand this fascination with ringworlds and dyson spheres and the such.

That would literally be like playing any other rts, because the map is a rectangle with sides which warp to other sides

for me it's the scale of the battles that impress me not the shape of the map. so a ringworlds or dyson spheres would mean hundreds/thousand of times the land so could increase the solar power significantly

a dyson spheres according to wikipedia is about 550 thousand Earth surface area

Kicktrack puts the trend at 1,804,900. Regardless of how inaccurate it is, I'm unnaturally excited :D

    It's now trending towards 1,740,946.
The only reason it's trending so high (and jumping so much) is due to the velocity of the money coming in. If it slows down, even for 15 mins, the trend drops dramatically.
