PLEASE: Give us a "HOST GAME" option

Word. I'd love the option to host games.

Which means it'll be hated by 90% of the community.

I'd also like to know how we can tell who is hosting - or indeed I am hosting?!

For example - I have ADSL - it's good for playing online matches - but hosting games, forget it - it's not a good idea - now on say 360 TF2 you can choose whether you host or not and you can see what games are open, who's hosting and what the ping is, this is what MNC needs - none of this Modern Warfare style "mystery host" business.

I'm sure I got host one time as I watched every other player drop out of the map leaving me the only one in the whole arena (true story) I'd love some way to be able to avoid that situation.

The thing is, noone, given the choice, wants another player to have host advantage and, in this game, host advantage is pretty significant. So, it'll result in the majority of players wanting to host games and very few searching for them, leading to dozens and dozens of quiet or empty lobbies.

I like this idea. I pay for a good connection and I want to use it.

all this game needs is to actually pick a host for the best connection after a lobby starts unlike where it makes first person in lobby host

Maybe it's just me, but I feel like as host, even though I avoid network lag, I get worse framerate lag. Sometimes when assaulting a base I can barely tell what's going on, but others around seem to be doing just fine at killing me. So it may not be all peaches and cream for the host

I'd be all for having a host game option but that would come with some restrictions. First of all if your connection sucks then you can never be host. Second if you are the host you can lose host if a better connection comes along (in the lobby).

I'm sure there would be other restrictions but those are the main ones.
