Playing against the AI has been renamed Galactic War

It's the first pass of the first pass mate. And most people will enjoy it. The silent majority are not competitive multiplayer oriented anyway.

Also, not everyone who likes to play vs. AI is a "noob" as you put it. Uber actually started pushing the first pieces of the game's lore and soon to be rich background into the game. Which is something fun to experience on it's own for many. It makes the whole thing more memorable, gives it a personality.

In the coming months, GW will be improved based on our feedback. If you don't care for it since you're such a "pro", stick to providing feedback on the multiplayer aspect and balancing.

We use the word awesome because it is. It's a massive step forward in being able to sell this game to not just a very narrow niche of gamers, who have the free time and talent to become good competitive players, but to all the others, people with time consuming studies, jobs +/ families, who love RTS, but can only sit down for an hour at a time.

This is key to making this project profitable for Uber. Keeping the lights on, buying software licenses and machines, paying slaries is not cheap.

This is why we play the game, to get first access to a vision of a galactic war. We are still playing a game undone and very much in work. Let`s not forget that.

i personly totaly dig it as it is more a series of random skirmishes with random settings totaly for funzies
that alone makes it more different than your standart campaign or single ai skirmish
