Planets are absurdly small.

    Truth has been spoken, let KNOWLEDGE RAIN FROM THE SKY.

    A "Strategic point", in my opinion, is any part of the planet my enemy is holding that I'm NOT holding. That includes wherever his Commander is.

    So my job is to "capture" that "strategic point" by blowing the unholy **** out of it. And then taking it with fabbers.

    I can't understand why you couldn't flank in such a map.
    It's not like there will be some kind of invisible wall around the map that block everything like on SupCom. Nothing prevent using ships/airtransport/amphibious transports to attack from each direction.
