    I think a 'true' sequel to SupCom would be in lore- as in featuring the UEE, Cybran, Aeon etc... similar to how a 'true' successor to TA would need to feature the units and factions.

    PA is a 'spiritual' successor in that its definitely the same type of game, but features its own story, units and so on.

    Perhaps the word 'direct' successor would be a better way to describe it?
