    A user with the IGN username of "BrianPurKiss" has created pages on the bots that appear to be direct copy pastes of the PAMatches pages. Is this you?

    For me, there are only two things that matter for a wiki:
    - Public accessibility - A wiki is only as successful as the ability of the community to contribute quickly
    - Reach: a wiki that a lot of people will have access to through their normal routes.

    IGN obviously hits those goals. We were hoping the Curse one would be more popular than it has been, but it simply hasn't been the case.

    Personally, I'd rather see 5 high profile wiki's all doing their own thing, with active audiences and lots of content. Everyone benefits from that. As we move toward a retail launch and beyond, hopefully we'll see that.

    Carry on. Back to finding bugs I go. :)

    I guess you're right, but that's really annoying. The funny thing is, whoever tried to steal your work ended up giving you credit anyway. It's still always annoying to see something like that - especially immediately after you just said not to.

    I understand the idea of these different wikis and it may seem like toe-stepping and what not, but then again, as uber approach release they need to publicise as much as possible and currently PAMatches is 'Google-Access'; if you get my meaning whereas IGN is a known entity across gaming. PAMatches is known to those interested in PAMatches and those who are interested in PA enough to search into it thus far.
    IGN may not be the best place to host the wiki, but it gets the eyeballs looking in its general direction.

    I propose an IN HOUSE OFFICIAL wiki by Uber, maybe create a subforum or something and then link across to it from all of these places - PAMatches, IGN, heck any other gaming site as well. There must be a way for those sites to show the content of the forums as a link preview etc. That way all the information would be in one pool and also updated on the other links too.

    Is this possible? I've not got much experience with this sort of thing.


    OH, before I go, the Wiki MUST name the T1 tank the ANT

    You should try searching for "Planetary Annihilation [unit name]." I dominate. And I worked hard for that.

    Heck, just about any common Planetary Annihilation related search term I'm up there for it. Muahahaha.

    Obviously nothing's being changed in D2 anymore, but as the official wiki, it's extremely good at providing information about anything and everything in-game. Not only that, but it looks way better than the Fanwiki.
    Personal opinion, but I believe it nonetheless.
