Hey now, I love Australia.. despite spending most of my six months in Canberra - a beautiful but very boring little city. Sydney was always awesome, though sadly never made it over to Melbourne. I'd love it if we made it to PAX Aus. But shows that distant require a LOT of justification. PAX Prime is easy.. Even PAX East is a bit hard to manage, and it's only a three hour flight.

Fun fact: The only reason Canberra exists is because they couldn't pick between Sydney and Melbourne. Basically they just said "FINE! WE'LL PUT ONE IN THE MIDDLE! THERE!" and now we have Canberra.

Fun fact: Jango Fett landed in Australia.


Fun fact: Melbourne was founded by Batman.

Another fun fact: They couldn't decide on the official pronunciation of Canberra (eg. "Can-ber-ra" or "Canbrah"), so in true Australian style they said "however the announcer pronounces it when the name is officially revealed, will be the official pronunciation".

(It's "Canbrah", by the way)

I'm not putting words in your mouth. I'm basing it on that first phone call with Mavor. He had said at least some people would end up coming.
