Yeah, I don't think the video is fit for public consumption; but it was a lot of fun hanging out. I think the word-of-mouth buzz coming out of PAX East is gonna be huge, and a lot of it is coming from the fact that the guys at Uber are regular dudes who talk to the fans.
Unfortunately we can only hang out with a limited amount of people at one time in person. The forums are here though so if people want to talk, bring it on!
Great Showing at PAX. Monday Night Combat was the best game i played there (APB is a close second). The guys at Uber were very friendly and really did there game a lot of justice. My only beef was losing the tournament because the game type was different than what we were actually told( We were told it was destroy the money ball which we almost did and would have won, but the game type was collect the most cash. ICEMAN got screwed!) . How ever they did apologize and give us all T-Shirts( Sweet ones my I add). But its still no Pit Girl statute which I'm VERY BITTER about  ! All and all the game was amazing and I had a lot of fun with it. It felt release ready to me so hurry up and get it out  MAYBE ONE DAY ILL GET MY PIT GIRL STATUTE
Lol, I was watching that game...3 of my friends were on your team for that one (no room left when I tried to get in). It was lame for sure, but I got to rag on them for the rest of the convention. Especially after I went and won the tournament on Sunday. ^_^
Baconaise was for the runner-up of the final round. The winners got a T-shirt with a design similar to the 8-bit wallpaper on the main page, a Pitgirl statue and an asswhooping by the dev team, though I think that our team (Sunday champions) were able to give them a moderate challenge. Think they beat us in around 4-5 minutes, lol.
If they let me work another booth, I'd like to spend more time roving the booth and with the people playing, as well as be able to pay more attention at the tourneys (if there are future ones). I still had an awesome time with what I did do though!
I was a random PAX goer who fell in love with your game there. I came away from it recommending it to just about every gamer I know and spending about 3 hours around your screens either playing or watching. Hope development continues and XBLA negotiations go well. Also it was funny watching your devs playing with media and trying to be nice and not just kick there ***.
Thanks vorsmyth! Glad you liked the game. Production is going well, even at PAX we had only one crash and that was because one of the machines got overheated, so it really wasn't our code's fault.
You guys should try using the newly created Nitrogen Infused C++. Keeps you code base cool, and your bacon crispy.
We were using development demo kits. It was more of an issue of the box running on its side all day for 3 days without too much ventilation. Proped it up vertically, gave it room to breath which made it all better.
