PAT sound problems

Thx its better now No stuttering/fps drops, still seem to miss som unit sounds, but much better.

I can confirm replacing the FMOD files will remedy the stuttering. Like FSN1977 said, the sound still cuts out regularly, though.

This seems to be affecting me on Win10. Sound is messed up with either FMOD files.

Yeah, PA probably needs to be compiled with those newer libraries properly instead of just replacing the DLLs. It's a rather messy solution. The newer version I linked has a fix for Windows 10, specifically for the loud sound distortion when staring PA (that is also affecting other games than PA), but it doesn't seem 100% compatible.

Any chance of a new windows build with updated FMOD libraries for Windows 10 users?

Maybe a PTE build that can play with current stable?

Looks like an FMOD update would help and I hate my sound cutting out all the time it sucks

Everytime i click on the PIP button there's a 1/10 chance of total sound loss, else i'm just missing sound effects entirely or they arrive 'late'.

FMOD update came with the Latest patch.
