Hi still new to this game and I like it a lot, if it wasn't for the constant crashes. Those occur both in Galactic War (no mods) or in AI (with Queller and Legion). Quite randomly, sometimes the game runs fine for an hour, sometimes within 10 minutes of a match. DxDiag and latest dmp file attached, please advise. Drivers are up to date, no known conflicting software running as well. Other games are working fine. Thanks SL
Can you please zip and upload the dmp files from: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Temp\ (C:\Users\Stephan\AppData\Local\Temp\)
Those are all in the Nvidia OpenGL driver. Recommend you try a DDU uninstall: https://wiki.palobby.com/wiki/Updating_NVIDIA_graphics_drivers Seeing lots of issues with people using older Nvidia cards. "Seeing lots of issues with people using older Nvidia cards." Funny, I'm on a GTX970 which wasn't around when this game was made. However, DDU seems to have fixed it, just did a game and had no crashes. Thank you. SL
It's not a game issue from what I've seen. Seems to be related to your driver upgrade history, GPU swaps, OS upgrades and any failed installs / uninstalls. That crash started with 390/391 drivers typically on Windows 10 with previous generation (older) cards. ie not latest 10 series. Possibly a setting or profile is not migrated or set incorrectly during upgrades. Hopefully that specific crash is fixed now.
