Wow. When you said you were hoping to release playable own planets "this week" I did not think you meant Tuesday. Great job as always and I'm going to be firing up my PA the second I get home from work.
I totally agree with you on these points, especially the AI . Particularly your point on having nonexistent AI. I think this is a good idea for new players that want to learn the units and build progression without immediately getting swamped with enemy units.
This time you also forgot to put the link to the download page for Mac/Linux. Time to sleep a bit . By the way, I cannot download this build from those links, instead I get a web page with the message "MalformedPolicy".
This is fantastic work here. The planets are coming along amazingly, and the changes to the lobby and AI are really starting to flesh the game out. This interests me greatly. I proposed a version of orbital combat as a suggestion of how it could be done without relying on battleships and space-fighters. It would synergise well with using tactical missile launchers as part of the ASAT defence system.

The link is in the FAQ. Most people who need that have already book marked it. I'm trying to slowly get the build notes focused just on the build, rather than a bunch of caveats and emptors.
i noticed that normally controlling multiple types of fabers all highlighted at once doesn't show their available constructions menu. now with the B tab command you can glitch in the controls and the even more awesome part is available constructions are pooled. yet you still cant see them under the all tab.
The only "cheating" the AI does at the moment is it is able to build metal extractors anywhere it wants. Also, the bomber platoons it sends out just patrol randomly around the planet. There are no targeted strikes yet.
You're a liar and deceiver. I bet the AI is already a mad bastard but you don't want us to rage quit the game already in Alpha so you keep it dumb and simple.
Oh, you're just experiencing the "hunt for Petard code" we put in. On another note - Green - that's intentional, and I had actually forgotten about it. Ezerek built the system to allow multiple fabber types to show all available options. Make a group of fabbers, select them all, and build. Very handy!
