Planetary Annihilation Current Build: 49789 Date: June 19th, 2013 Platforms: Windows 64-bit, and Early Stage Mac OS/X 10.7/10.8 and Linux testing. XP is NOT supported, Mac OS/X 10.6 unfortunately cannot be supported due to middleware. If you are playing on Linux or Mac at this early stage, please join us on the forums for discussion and ongoing bug fixes. These builds are still very early. If you don't wish to play through steam for them, you can download directly from http://uberent.com/launcher/padownloads - Mac and Linux only, these are full build until we get our stand alone launcher working. Build 49789: MOOONNNSSS.. You'll see what we mean Fixes for a couple different simulation terminated issues Fix hover details on radar blips (no more cheating!) Awesome! having 20 fps when playing in the moon. Btw why the number of triangs is so much lower in the moon then it is in the earth type planet? I guess the cliffs and features doesn't justify this.
I see. Well, we could have an option to turn off the rocks and trees from the planet! I dunno if this is planned or not =)
The game is just not optimized, there is nothing going on atm that even low end computers cant handle. It was the same with Kerbal Space Program, 20fps, then an update suddenly 60fps all the time!.
playing in the moon? I see nothing of the sort. edit: had to play a few times, good moon biome... now let's get my commander to the "real" moon.
This looks like a step toward orbital, even if it just means we can only go to and from the moon. Still, once the moon's working, and the basic orbital stuff is coded, we can try testing that stuff too then. I think neutrino mentioned getting the unit cannon working to accept units....
Ah! So they've essentially put a planet that's just a moon biome into the rotation?! Does this moon/planet still have the smaller moon orbiting it? (EDIT: LOL, yes....) EDIT: got the moon!
I would like that too, it's a bit jittery and sometimes not really readable due to the frequent updates. While we are at it, an integrated way of logging these infos over time would be nice, to get an impression of the values over the span of a session.
