Yeah that guy. He added me on his friends list; then suddenly removed me for no reason.

bro: No, I agree,.. that's what I'm saying. I do it as well (prebuild so no one Fs it up).

TOM: the strats are nothing special once you sort it out, but getting 4 ppl together that know how to play is rare. There's obviously more than 1 setup, but they're all variations of the same thing. The easiest 4 player imo is essentially; 2 supports, 2 tanks. supports cover/hack front, tanks cover rear and sides, with supports occassionally tossing airstrikes to their left or right side doors. tank: product grenade back door first, finish em, hit sides if they're still alive. supports babysit the anhilator, but don't throw it until the second wave is announced to see what its going to be. rinse repeat. you could do the same thing with 4 tanks; 3 tanks 1 support; assassins can work in place of tanks. gunners, assaults, and snipers are mostly useless. maybe a sniper/support front can work, you lose alot but you gain the freeze traps. 2 supports and 2 tanks own because tanks tear through everything like butter, and supports hacks, heals, airstrikes, and turrets dominate the front. Not having a support doesnt seem like it's a big deal, but losing turrets can end a game quickly even when you were doing really well.

A player strat with 2 tanks is much easier. One on left, one on right. Stand under/behind the front bridge. product `nade the front as they come out the doors, charge to the sides, kill em, return to the middle if any survived. Repeat, over and over and over. Jackbots are a joke with just 2 people... not a real threat. Constantly stay ready to juice/buy juice between rounds. Keep an eye out for a chained wave of jackbots/blackjacks/jackbots because thats the only time you'll even be bothered to think about the Anhiliator. To insist that 4 ppl is easier than 2 people is a bit loco ;) 3 people is the worst, because after a certain point its practically identical to the 4 player game, but you are down a person.

As for the Shaved turret locations... thats not up for debate , there are no better locations and you just need the 3. Hacking them is unnessicary as well, but if one of the supports up front wants to do that to make his life easier, by all means. I mean theres 2 of you.. you can keep a constant 6 turrets hacked at all times so go for it.

i do insist that 4 is easier than 2, with the right set up. i did it, first try brought me to ~350 with quite a few problems from a couple other players not playing right, and i have made a slight adaptation to the front door strategy that makes the front ice unnecessary. the front can be covered EASILY by one person, and the tank thing with the side doors you mentioned. then the support is left to do his thing and hack/heal.

also, 4 hacks are possible with gold skill recovery and good timing.

It's simple math man.. more players, more bots, more doors, more 3x blackjacks, more random Jackbot chains. It's not easier.. you might have some skilled players and play it well, but its not easier.

The 4 hacks though, thats only half true... if you have gold skill regen and you are hacking your 4th turret immediately as soon as the skill meter is full (and you never once get hit by a scrambler drain), the 1st turret you hacked will become unhacked @ the following wave (or next depending if it was a super quick wave) and you won't have a half of your skill regen'd yet to rehack up a 4th. You'll get a overlap but you will never keep a constant 4 turrets hacked like you do with 3. It breaks your timing rhythm for keeping your 'important' turrets constantly hacked..therefor IMO it's pretty worthless to focus on a 4th instead keeping your main 3 hacked. As for everything else I agree.. and I can see how you could go with no Ice up front, but I rather wouldn't...

You should hit me up on Blitz sometime.. we would dominate. I'll be playing alot of Crap Ops the next few days tho..

    Yurp.

You need support to Hack certain turrets and the Tank/Assassin is specifically for the tanks and to make the turret's job easier.

Tanks are good because of their strong Death Blossom against Jackbots, but Assassins are better because of their speed.

If you want to get far, it's all about being able to handle a lot of Jackbots in a row and recovering from it.

The most we encountered on our run was eight sets of Jackbots in a row. And btw, we didn't need the annihilator. The Assassin's fast enough to take out two Jackbots, get juice and come back for the next round. As long as you don't screw up, you won't need the annihilator.

Oh yeah, as far as 4 man blitz goes... We've got a pretty damn good strategy. We just need another good support/assassin team. It IS harder.

A Tank's level 2 Product Grenade will stop Jackbots from moving.

    I didn't read page 2 or 3.

But me and satanic were the first to get to over 2000 with 2005. I wrote a strategy guide about how we did this. viewtopic.php?f=18&t=2893

    We did

    Tank + Support

You need Supports... You can use 2 tanks but the Hacks of a support are very damaging.

I just got to level 322 by myself with a Support.

i got to 434 as a Sniper, Support combo, wouldve went alot further, but time was against us and we had to stop, currently # 1 as sniper, doing a combo with a support would be the easiest to do
