Reminds me of a weird endgame a while back
Was on a server that had OT off and when the round timer hit 0, my team(Blue) automatically lost
Weird part is as far as I know, if both teams have the same moneyball health left, whichever has the most accumulated money wins and we had the most cash by a few grand

I was just pointing out XBox players have played the game for longer and in-turn the majority of players know what they are doing and all the in's and out's of the game. Juice and/or OT is no problem at all and players know how to deal and prepare for both. Not just 1 or 2 players knowing what to do more like 1 or 2 players who don't know what to do.

MNC plays a bit different when you have evenly matched teams and players.

    I agree with Stretch.

I have played on Xbox since the beginning, and that surely gives me an advantage on a lot of things, including strategy and tactics. The vast majority of players on PC (including some high level players) are still learning, and didn't not catch all the mechanics of the game.

That's normal, the game is still new, it will change eventually.

I don't think this is as true as you guys want it to be.

I think the games been out long enough for some of us to have a solid grasp of the mechanics.

There are few things that stop a juiced assault on the money ball, and his ability to end it is far to fast. OT is supposed to end games, that is understandable.

however it should not be a reset to 0. If you were winning (had turrets up and hacked) and they were loosing (had turrets down) the advantage should be yours.

the problem is right now that the assault and to some extent the assassin, can render turrets in effective in OT, because of the catwalk.

Which is not fair to the team that was doing better before the OT hit.

in a 15 minute math, you have 12 minutes to get it done, after that, you have to spend the last 3 prepping for OT.

Getting the gun up, getting near catwalk, preparing to stop the initial juice attacks, hoping to survive and counter attack.

ORRRR just kill your self, switch to assault, buy up to bomb 3, and farm a bar of juice and wait.

The fact that I have done that and won, every single time I have done it, is kinda rediculous.

"Some" of you, that was my point ;)

As an example, I see an incredible share of players going only for deathmatch. Those people still did not get the purpose of the game.

Also, it feels quite wrong that I almost always get the highest number of bots killed as a Gunner. Which confirms my thoughts.

But yes, give the game some more time.

I agree that MANY of the players have no idea how to win, I have YET to be beaten in bot kills (since patch) as an assault, even by asassins and tanks, which is quite sad. Though I use RoF Gold, nade laucher to CONSTANTLY kill bots between fire fights.

however, my point was that its not ok to arbitarily dismiss my comments or those of others, simply because we did not play on xbox. Or to assume that yours are correctly simply because you did.

not an insult, just saying I would prefer to debate fact, not a standpoint.

    No offense taken, don't worry.

I'm just comparing my experience on the two versions of the game, and my feeling is that PC has not catched up yet.

On that point we agree completely.

I think that while OT has issues, we will see far LESS OT as the game grows, and people learn how to finish matches before the OT hits.

I still feel that the Assault has too much money ball damage because of how quickly he can get to the money ball and how safely he can attack it.

But I understand how you disagree.

I simply see no solid way to stop him.

As it is now, If i'm not playing assault, I usually switch to him 3 minutes out and farm juice (using my excess cash to flesh out his skills) rather than buy turrets, because I know that in OT the best defense is an assault on offence.

Though If I were to try and stop one, I would probably go support, hack the level 3's fire base the just to the side of the gap, where he couldnt hit it until he was on the catwalk, and tripple air strike when he landed. (spread them out)

I honestly don't expect to kill him outright, I expect to deter his use of juice..

but hes still going to get at least a bomb 3 off and that hurts. But its manageable.

Easiest way to deal with a juiced Assault is Level 3 Tank Charge then Railgun Grapple. Bye Bye Assault.

Juice can also be used to defend the Moneyball.

See, Gunner is not really effective compared to other classes when it comes to damaging it, even while juiced. It's better to ask a Sin, a Tank or an Assault to take care of it.

If you communicate with your team, you can ask a Gunner with full juice bar (or enough money to buy juice) to dedicate himself to Moneyball defense. I do it from time to time.

Everyone knows that you MUST NOT face a Juiced Gunner, even when you are juiced :D

Now imagine that Gunner waiting on the upper ring with juice and he is deployed. Sheesh...I fear that.

    That would be awesome.
*Jump*, "Oh **** a deployed, juiced gunner.". Lunge behind him, begin to pump Gunner full with shurikens. Dead.

Ya know... I have not used the Railgun grapple yet
Then again if someone is close enough to grapple I'm usually trying to jetgun them to death

No idea who else has done it, but I figured with the number of bullets the Gunner spews out that having Silver Crit endorsement might not be a bad idea, tho it probably becomes pointless while juiced

I've never been impressed with the melee grapples.

Yea, I prefer grapples like the lvl3 Charge on Assault.
Even if it doesn't kill right away, it will either punt the enemy far away or will cause a ringout

Deployed while juiced would be the most stupid move possible :?

Which the Railgun grapple does without a single dollar in upgrading.

    my favorte grapples are

    1) support shotgun grapple: Only because I love sticking them or getting close to them with an airstrike and than grappling.. its worth the death. I usually type "and now we die" as fast as i can when I do this. Or follow it up with a shot gun blast for instant death if airstrikes on cooldown. but airstrike grapple is amazing on juiced opponents..

    2) Sniper level 3 grapple: rediculous punt range

    3) Assault lvl 3 charge: rediculous punt range, though not as fun as the snipers

    4) Gunners grapple: only because LAWL you let me grapple you.

I believe I played one such game with you. I was an assassin. A terrible one. In my defence I hadn't had the chance to play assassin since the beta, but yeah, I recognised your name and saw the bot kills and made a note to check if it was from the forums. I swear I'm not that bad with every class
